Kudos to Voxeo and the newly launched open source telephony project Rocketsource. Like the Solegy sponsored Open Source SIP, Rocketsource applications have been released under the Mozilla Public License (MPL) and, therefore, lend themselves to commercial adaptations. I have always admired Voxeo’s innovative hosted telephony services and leadership position in the voice apps space. The market for boutique telephony applications is bound to explode along with the services revolution, and Voxeo clearly has its finger on the pulse.
